Sandra Burton
Pioneering Clean Energy Innovator, PondHawk
With over 20 years in the clean energy sector, Sandra Burton has driven the adoption of innovative electro-technologies in the U.S. and globally. Inspired by the effectiveness of PondHawk® on her property, Sandra introduced this high-quality, solar-powered aeration system to the market by leveraging her extensive experience in the electric utility and solar industries.
Sandra's early career highlights include collaborations with Sandia National Laboratory, the U.S. Department of Energy, and Hawaiian Electric Company. Notably, she earned Delaware's Governor’s leadership award for launching a statewide energy efficiency initiative that saved residents over $10 million annually.
In 2007, she joined SunEdison’s start-up team, where she led the development of the pioneering 24-megawatt utility solar program with Lakeland Electric in Florida.
Now, Sandra applies her leadership, marketing, and business development expertise to manage LINNE Industries and global sales for PondHawk®. She holds a B.S. in economics from the University of Utah and an MBA from the University of Delaware. She is a Certified Energy Manager with the Association of Energy Engineers.
